Anyone can benefit from the time and attention of a thoughtful, supportive and confidential person. It’s normal to want to improve what’s tough in your life and to make the good stuff even better! My office is a place where you can be yourself and we’ll work together to address your needs. Pursuing therapy is a courageous decision and a powerful act of self-care.
The people who are the best fit for my strengths are:
- adolescents and the parents of adolescents
- seniors in high school who are transitioning to college
- college students and other young adults
To me, therapy is about: listening, teaching and partnering with people; highlighting and leveraging their strengths; offering them care and support -- not “fixing” them!
While there are considerable benefits to regular, weekly therapy, I also enjoy helping people address short-term personal or situational dilemmas for which they would like to bend someone’s ear. Personal connection, itself, is healing and even a single touchpoint can make a difference.
